Because of the generosity of Clay's fans, 15 tickets were donated to The Arc of
Lehigh and North Hampton Counties for Musikfest. The director
of the Arc was overwhelmed by our donation and said that the recipients and
their families/caregivers were all big Clay fans and very excited about the
show! They promised to take lots of pictures so please keep checking for updates to see how they enjoyed the show!
From The Arc of Lehigh and Northampton Counties...
Karen asked me to send you a quick note of thanks on her and The Arc's
behalf for the donation of so many tickets to the Clay Aiken concert. I
attended the concert both this year and last and really enjoyed this year's
concert. During the intermission this year, I was able to locate some of
the recipients of the tickets and take pictures of them enjoying the
concert. As soon as those photos are developed, we will forward you a
set.
I am the Director of the Arc's Adult Training Facility and 3 of our
participants were able to attend the concert with their families. These
individuals had the biggest smiles on their faces the entire night. One
individual did not go to bed until well after 1:00 a.m. because she was so
excited and happy from attending the concert. It was nice to see them
enjoying themselves outside of the day program.
Our Evening Recreation Program and our Best Buddies program also benefited
from your donations.
Thank you again for thinking of us and providing so much joy to six
individuals and their families.
